Training Sessions
As part of the SAP Academic Community Conference DACH 2026, free training sessions will once again be offered from Wednesday, September 9, through Thursday, September 10.
Important notes:
- Attendance at the in-person training sessions is exclusively for conference participants.
- The training sessions will take place not in Rorschach, but at OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen. Details on how to get there can be found here.
In addition, UCC Magdeburg and UCC Munich will offer further free and paid online training sessions in the two weeks following the conference, which are open independently of conference participation.

This two-day introductory training is primarily aimed at lecturers who have not yet used SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA in their teaching. Experienced ERP or S/4HANA lecturers are also welcome to refresh their knowledge and get to know the latest version of the Global Bike 4.3 teaching and learning environment.
SAP S/4HANA is the next-generation business suite and replaces SAP ERP. It was developed to meet the challenges of digital transformation in enterprises and to fully exploit the resulting potential.
- Introduction to SAP S/4HANA (including architecture and data model) as well as SAP Fiori
- Navigation in S/4HANA and Fiori
- Presentation of Global Bike – The integrated model company
- Introduction to business processes with SAP S/4HANA
- Guided completion of the “Sales and Distribution (SD)” module
- Introduction to the EHS module (sustainability scenario)
- Independent completion of the “Production Planning (PP)” and “Materials Management (MM)” modules
- Presentation of the instructor tools (lecturer notes)
- (Optional) Discussion and feedback session
This training introduces professional code development on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Educators will gain hands-on experience in developing, extending, and integrating modern enterprise applications according to the “Keep the Core Clean” principle.
- Hands-on exercises with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse, and SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
- Focus on the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) (managed/unmanaged scenarios) as well as an insight into the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
- Presentation of teaching materials, case studies, and UCC services to directly integrate the content into your own courses.
The objective of this one-day training course is to explain the core principles of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and to provide an overview of all SAP Build components. In addition to the presentation of all learning materials and demos, participants will have the opportunity to apply SAP BTP services in practice. SAP BTP is a platform for the integration, automation, extension, and development of AI-powered business applications and processes for enterprises.
With the SAP Build product family, SAP supports the development and automation of applications using low-code, pro-code, and AI tools. SAP Build Process Automation focuses on the automation of repetitive operational tasks, making them error-free and automatically repeatable. This is achieved using visual drag-and-drop tools (no-code/low-code).
SAP Build Apps offers users with minimal programming knowledge a graphical development interface to build complex applications using visual tools and minimal manual code (low-code).
SAP Build Code rounds out the pro-code development environment through traditional software development. The standout feature of this environment for programming professionals is the innovative support provided by the generative AI SAP Joule.
SAP S/4HANA is the next-generation business suite. It was developed to meet the challenges of digital transformation in enterprises and to harness the associated opportunities. The SAP S/4HANA system is used to execute and record countless business processes every day. When an organization wants to optimize a process, it is crucial to know how current processes are actually running: Where are the bottlenecks? Where do unusual or non-compliant operations occur? And so on.
With SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, it is now possible to analyze business process data from SAP S/4HANA and use the insights gained to evaluate and optimize company processes.
The focus of this training is to provide an overview of SAP Business Process Intelligence (BPI) (including Signavio) and to explain the fundamental concepts of SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. This includes the architecture as well as an introduction to the user interface. This introduction will be complemented by a hands-on exercise.
The Integration Suite is an integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) that helps quickly integrating on premises and cloud-based processes, services and
data, supporting multiple application-to-application (A2A) and business-to-business (B2B) integration scenarios.
The TTT session introduces the SAP Business Technology Platform and Enterprise Application Integration, as well as the Integration Suite curriculum. Note: the training will be provided in English.
